Transfer Pricing Services (TPS) was set up in Romania in 2009 and has become one of the leading CEE independent advisory firm, being recognised for its innovative solutions for effective management of risks and disputes in transfer pricing matters (see TPS awards).

TPS' main objective is to assist its clients in managing the transfer pricing risk in their business operations by providing high quality transfer pricing advice and assistance in an efficient, flexible, dynamic and cost conscious manner.

One key factor behind the success of TPS is our approach: we involve our clients in every step of our work, starting from the fact finding phase to the implementation of our advice. This way we share and transfer a lot of valuable knowledge and we make sure no detail is missed.

TPS specialists played a major role in implementing the OECD standards in the tax legislation within the region and are heavily involved in explaining and helping companies to manage their transfer pricing risks.

TPS is the only tax consultancy firms to have two of the five members proposed by Romania in the European Arbitration Commission for removing the double taxation in the relation between affiliates.

In January 2016, Transfer Pricing Services (TPS), the main independent tax consultant in transfer pricing, and Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP), one of the strongest law firms in Romania, announced their strategic partnership. The objective of the NNDKP-TPS alliance is to continue to offer a complete package of legal and tax services for the Romanian companies part of a national or multinational group, in the context where the intra-group transactions have become one of the "hottest" topics in the area of fiscal services. In September 2013 TPS expanded its regional experience by setting up a tax advisory firm in Belgrad . At that time, TPS was one of the first foreign actors (other than the BIG FOUR consultants) to operate on the Serbian consulting market. Within one year, the firm was recognized as a top provider of tax services; the local team thus had gathered the capabilities to carry on independently. In 2015, TPS decided to withdraw from Serbia.

Knowing and understanding the characteristics of a market, however, and the experience gathered as business angel have become strong assets for TPS. We are still ready for any other local challenges, should the market conditions turn favourable.

Acting as a global player, Transfer Pricing Services has a key strategic alliance with Quantera Global, one of the world’s leading independent transfer pricing advisory firms, providing specialist transfer pricing services to multinationals of all sizes across the globe.

Network flexibility and expanded coverage allows TPS to offer customized solutions at group level in the most cost-effective way.
